Get to Know Us

H.E.A.R.T. is a membership group that works to raise funds for and offer support to the child victims of abuse receiving services at the Violence Intervention Program (VIP). Comprised of Advocates, professionals and philanthropists, our members have created a community dedicated to making a thoughtful impact on the lives of abused children and the caregivers who strive to keep them safe.

The Violence Intervention Program is the largest child abuse clinic in the country, serving over 18,000 children every year, and the “gold standard” for the care and treatment of victims of abuse and neglect – H.E.A.R.T. is the magic that makes it all possible.

Children and families who have been victimized, often have needs that exceed traditional medical or mental health care. Through annual memberships and donations, H.E.A.R.T. members raise funds to cover.
